Stall Registration

The Makers and Painters Market will be held on 3rd and 4th November 2018 (Sat & Sun) at the iconic “Meat Market Building”, located in North Melbourne.

THE STALLHOLDER AREA

Each stallholder tent space is 3m x 3m trestle space is 1.8 x .75m.

APPROVALS/DENIALS

Approval/Denials will be conducted by the Jury within 30 days.

REFUNDS

In the event that a Stallholder is declined the stall fee will be refunded in the manner in which stallholder paid. Stallholder fee refunds for withdrawal will be given if the withdrawal occurs at least sixty (60) days prior to event day.

BY FILLING OUT AND SUBMITTING THIS APPLICATION THE STALLHOLDER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING

bump in from 12pm Friday bump out from 5pm Sunday

Stallholders must have a 3m x3m white roofed tent for their space (available on line)

Trestle spaces do not require a tent

Stall spaces and goods must stay in place until the end of the market times on both days

Stallholders will comply with all instructions by employees of the Makers and Painters market

Items for sale must be contained within the assigned area or in such manner as to not cause a hazard to other stallholders or the public

No decorative furniture paint or any type of paint or brand may be sold at the market unless permission is given.

Pets are not allowed in stalls

No smoking on premises

Three photos are required with your application

Payment is required at the time of the application

All products offered for sale must be made, grown and sold on the market day by the applicant. Products that are clearly imported or made overseas or purchased from a wholesaler or are deemed inappropriate will not be accepted.

FOOD STALLS

It is the stallholders responsibility to apply to the local council and obtain and pay any registration required.

Stallholders must supply copies of registration with there local council and also the council in which they are trading

Food stallholders must comply with any local, state and federal health regulations and food acts

Stalls selling alcohol (bottle only) must supply management copies of their liquor licence prior to market days

Management reserves the right to

–Require the stallholder to remove from sale any goods or services offered by the stallholder which are not approved products or

-Request that the stallholder undertake any reasonable measure which in the opinion of Management will improve the safety of the stall or to raise the level of presentation of the stall and its products
